It takes a great number of people, and a variety of worthy groups to preserve a Mission church and building complex.  One of the organizations that is outstanding in their desire and their monetary assistance has been the California Missions Foundation.  In the past six years, grants from the California Missions Foundation have made it possible for Mission San Antonio to clean and restore a remarkable number of art pieces (from statues to paintings, candle sticks, crucifixes, etc.)  To learn more about this wonderful group, please visit their website www.californiamissionsfoundation.org
