Weddings

A more romantic setting for your wedding would be difficult to imagine than at the Mission. In fact, the first wedding to take place at this Mission occurred here in 1773 between a Salinan woman named Margaretta de Cortona and Spanish solider, Juan Maria Ruiz.

This tradition continues today. Imagine yourself at the mission-period altar with your betrothed, the interior ablaze in candlelight. After the matrimonial Mass, you and your party can take pictures or hold your reception in the fully-restored  garden with its flowing fountain surrounded by roses in full bloom and native plants blowing with the breeze..

Our wedding coordinator will be happy to assist you in planning your very special day.
